Therapies
Hypnotherapy involves the targeted use of hypnosis as a therapeutic tool.
The aim is to use the state of deep relaxation to calm the conscious, often active and analytical part of the mind. This creates access to the subconscious – the part that influences many of our automatic reactions, thought patterns, and behaviours.
In this special mental state, positive changes can often be initiated and inner processes can be effectively supported at a deeper level.
LesserianTM Curative Hypnotherapy (LCH)
This method was developed by David Lesser in England and is based on a clear fundamental principle:
If your subconscious mind causes a certain symptom, behaviour, or emotional reaction—even if you consciously want to break free from it—then it does so for a specific, inner reason.
This leads to the following conclusion: According to recognised experts, simply suggesting to the subconscious mind that it should behave differently can, at best, have a short-term or incomplete effect. This is because as long as there is an inner need or cause for the symptom—whether physical, emotional, or behavioural—the subconscious mind will continue to try to maintain it, regardless of what you consciously want or what is suggested from outside.
Wouldn't it therefore make sense to investigate directly with the subconscious why the symptom arose in the first place?
This is exactly where LesserianTM Curative Hypnotherapy (LCH) comes in:
Instead of working against the subconscious, LCH takes a cooperative approach—with the goal of finding the exact cause of the problem, if possible. By understanding why the symptom originally arose, the developers believe that therapy can be applied where it is really needed.
The focus of this approach is on uncovering, understanding, and correcting the deep-seated subconscious cause of a problem. If this cause is successfully resolved, lasting relief from the associated symptoms can be achieved—as opposed to mere control or short-term relief.
There are many different hypnosis techniques. Not all of them have been scientifically tested and are therefore not part of evidence-based medicine. I work exclusively with methods that have been tested and proven in terms of their effect and effectiveness. My preferred method, LCH, is highly regarded in Anglo-Saxon countries, but is not yet so well known in Germany. Please feel free to ask me about it.
