About me

At my grammar school, there was an opportunity to take psychology as a subject in the final two years, and that was when I first discovered how interesting and exciting the psyche, human behavior, and, above all, the way our behavior is changed by external influences can be.
After finishing grammar school, I studied school music with a major in organ at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar. Here, too, I came into contact with psychology again for a few semesters due to the course of study. But when it comes to music, it's actually always about the psyche and our subconscious. Why does this piece move us, why did this piece always make us happy and motivated in the past, but not anymore? Why was this performance so much better than the last one, even though it was the same performer and the same program? And what was so “special” about it? Often, this cannot be easily explained cognitively and put into words, but can only be sensed subconsciously. And as a performer, the psyche or subconscious also plays a major role in coping with the pressure to perform.
Later, I spent several years in England teaching at a private school. Since classroom management is very important and you are always looking for ways to get students excited about the subject, it was probably not surprising that my colleagues in the staff room were talking about TED talks and Derren Brown (mentalist). At that time, I also met a hypnotherapist who had treated an acquaintance—after this fascinating conversation, it was clear to me that I wanted to learn more about it at some point.
That moment came in 2014. I started with the Introductory course, which was required for admission to the practical training, and after passing it, I took the Certificate Course in 2017. After passing the practical training exam, I worked as a hypnotherapist in England.
Due to my husband's professional circumstances, we moved to Berlin. In order to continue offering the full range of applications, I completed training as a naturopath at arche medica in Berlin from 2021-2023 and am now looking forward to new experiences.
